Summary:
- Hiring assistant teachers for all rooms
- Ages infant-kindergarten
- Full-time positions
Responsibilities:
- Assist Lead Teacher with both long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy.
- Provide input for bi-annual assessment of children’s development
- Maintain daily open communication with parents
- Keep accident reports
- Maintain anecdotal records
- Maintain confidentiality
- Report any suspect abuse to supervisor
- Arrange a classroom environment in accordance to program goals and philosophy
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Inspect and replace damaged or lost materials
- Attend inservice and staff meetings
- Keep all appropriate records such as records, attendance and timesheets.
- Meet all applicable licensing regulations
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, sit comfortably on the floor with the children, and be outside with the children in different weather as the schedule requires.
Qualifications:
Must have one of the following:
High School Diploma AND minimum 1 year of experience working in an early childhood program
Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential

- Assist Lead and Assistant teacher in implementing curriculum

- Maintain confidentiality

- Assist in maintaining classroom environment in accordance to program goals and philosophy
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Report any damaged or lost materials to a supervisor
- Attend inservice and staff meetings
- Meet all applicable licensing regulations
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, sit comfortably on the floor with the children, and be outside with the children in different weather as the schedule requires.

2 years of experience working with young children
