Happy New Year!

Dear Parents,

It is hard to believe that we have reached the end of 2017! As the year comes to a close, I wanted to take a minute to thank you all for being a part of the Sproutlings community. Thank you for choosing to trust us with your most prized possessions. This is an honor that we do not take lightly. My favorite time of day is the time that I get to spend in the classrooms with your children watching them grow and discover.

As always, please feel free to stop by my office if you ever have any questions or concerns. It is important that families and schools work together as a team. Please know that we are always here for you.

Important Reminders:

-After each yearly physical, please return a new Universal Health Record to the office. These can be found in the lobby next to the bulletin board.

– Each time your child receives a new vaccination, please request an updated vaccination record from your doctor and bring it to the office so that we can keep our files updated.

-All over-the-counter medications including pain relievers and benedryl need to have a Permission to Dispense form signed by a doctor in order for Sproutlings to administer. We also need a bottle of the medication to keep in the classroom. Please ask classroom teachers for a copy of this form if you need one.

-Although we all want to be polite, please do not hold the front door open for anyone you do not recognize. Tell them to wait for a moment and notify one of the teachers or someone at the front desk. This will prevent a stranger from entering the building. If you lose your keycard, please email Kerry so that she can deactivate it. New keycards can be purchased for $15.

-As the weather becomes colder, we wanted to remind parents that it may be wise to keep an extra pair of gloves/mittens/hats/etc. in the classroom
